* Ken trains Warchild Holland ICT trainers

I participated as a facilitator in training of trainers in Information Communication Technology (ICT) from Warchild Holland. The training took place in Kitgum District from 12th to 23rd January 2009. Warchild Holland is an international Non Governmental Organization operating in Uganda, currently with the program of promoting peace in Northern Uganda through ICT, as a facilitator.

The trainees were from four Districts in Northern Uganda, namely; Lira, Kitgum, Amuru and Pader.

The training included;
1. Introduction to computers and all the basic knowledge on computers
2. Microsoft Office Word
3. Microsoft Office Access
4. Microsoft office Excel
5. Microsoft Office PowerPoint
6. Movie making using Windows Movie Maker
7. Picture editing using Microsoft Office Picture Manager
8. Exhibitions using Google's Picasa 3.0
9. Exhibitions using 3D Art Gallery
10.Internet usage and Web 2.0 tools

Facilitating of this training helped me to revise and perfect the general knowledge of the application of computer knowledge at basic level, but also acquainted him with knowledge to handle ICT trainings whatever level, higher than the trainings he had offered before to others and at ROSA-International, during internship, and at APFREM.NET.
